Venture capitalist and financier Ben Boyer has led investments in businesses across three continents, helped raise over $1.5B in capital, and sat on the board of 11 companies. His 14 successful exits include Eventbrite, Kayak, and Lyft. Now, the gravity of the present moment has pulled this investor out of the boardroom and into the trenches. As co-founder of R-Zero, he’s taken on a new mission: stopping the spread of pathogens in the COVID-19 era and beyond.
Jennifer Nuckles
CEO, R-Zero
Jennifer Nuckles is the CEO and Chairperson of the Board of R-Zero. Jennifer is an industry veteran, with over 25 years of experience leading and accelerating revenue growth and profitability for companies including high-growth, venture-backed and public companies. Prior to R-Zero, Jennifer was the Executive Vice President and Group Business Leader at SoFi where she ran one third of the business, including SoFi’s growth businesses and business development. Jennifer was previously Chief Marketing Officer of health tech leader Doctor on Demand and social gaming giant Zynga. She spent almost a decade in leadership positions at The Clorox Company in marketing and sales. Jennifer holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from the University of California, Berkeley and is a licensed CPA.
Dr. Richard Wade
Dr. Richard L. Wade, has 43 years of toxicology, microbiological contamination, and risk management roles with Princess Cruise Lines, Norwegian Cruise Lines, city and state government. He's an advocate of UV-C's regular use in cleaning. Dr. Wade holds a doctorate from the University of Michigan, with post-doctoral training at Oxford and Harvard. He lectures on risk management, is an associate professor, part of various professional associations, and experienced in government health, safety, and environmental risk management.
Kristen Alexander
CMO, R-Zero
As a technology marketing and product executive turned founder, Kristen as led go-to-market including brand, product marketing, demand generation, sales development, revenue operations, communications, and customer evangelism for Fortune 100 companies and high growth startups. Kristen as scaled early growth for SaaS companies in fintech, cybersecurity, and marketing technology, and managed global P&Ls for consumer mobile and gaming products.
